How about Hot Potato Chess? Where tossing back and forth one of those Hot Potato game (do they still make those?) the person who it buzzes on must remove a piece.
You've got a lot of guts to bring up this kind of "hot potato" issue. I admire that.

Shogi (Chinese Chess) is rich with crazy moves. When you capture an opponent's piece, that piece stays on the board and is comverted to the other side.
Another real practice is two two-person teams. Each member plays with opposite colors and when player "A" captures a piece, he hands it to his teammate "B" and "B" can place in in play anywhere on his board.
It is also fun when two masters have a dual simultaneous exhibition. Each master follows the other and is confronted with a new position every time it is his move.

that's bughouse
Every time a player gets checked the opponent can do 5 jumping jacks and make the checking player take back the move and play a different one
How about going into a trance state every time there is a critical move and getting advice from your Native Indian spirit guide?
to fight agaisnt racism I suggest black begins :
1 zzzz ...e4 2. e5 ... for instance
could be a revolution, no?
what would say WASP ?
not now, MC has 4 white and 3 black game.
NEW RULE ... If white checkmates, but black can checkmate back immediately, then game should be drawn.
In diagram above, there is no white mate with Qf8 because Black mates back immediately with Qc1. Draw! This rule gives Black an extra drawing resource. I think it's fair because white started first.
Similar position as previous one. (Qf8+ is a draw.) But this time white can win with Qa8+. Then Black must block with the Queen, and then white takes the Queen and mates.
Mines that destroy pieces that move onto a square with a mine.
I've played this and it's quite fun. You have two teams of two, each team consists of one chess player and one mine planter. The mine planters have a piece of paper, and at the start of the game they write down two squares. One is for a mine (the piece that steps on it dies) and the other is for an atomic bomb, (all pieces of both colours on the eight surrounding squares die as well). If a mine or bomb is hit, the mine setter announces it, shows the paper, and resets it to another square. If the king gets blown up that's game over (both kings dying in an atomic blast is a draw). The mine setters are allowed to look at each other's papers, to make sure 'friendly fire' incidents also get announced.
You play with only queen and pawns and the first person to lose all the pieces wins. You must capture a queen when possible and if you cant then you have to capture a pawn and if you cant capture any piece you can do anyrthing
The position is set up like this:
