What strange chess rules can you think up?

If a potato falls onto the chessboard from out of nowhere, then the first player to pick it up and throw it at a monkey and hit it gets to remove any three opponent's pieces (excluding their king) that they want.

Please note, this is for humorous purposes only. I do not condone hurting animals.

Falcon Punch: Once during each game, you may punch your opponent in the nose as hard as you want. If he bleeds on a piece, it is removed from the board. If he gets knocked out, you win the game and his wallet.

Cannibalism: You may remove one of your own pawns that within one square of your knight. The knight then upgrades from a {1,2} leaper to a {3,4} leaper for this turn.

Conversion chamber: Before the game begins, each player writes down a column letter (A through H), which they do not reveal until necessary. If an opponent's pawn promotes on the column you've chosen, the promoted piece becomes your color, not the opponent's.

You can sacrifice pieces using a necromancer to remove pieces of equal points from your opponent.

Once per game, you can choose to eat a banana instead of moving a piece. If you manage to finish it without a dog begging for a bite, you get to throw the banana peel onto the board, eyes closed - but you can use your hand to tell where pieces are. Any pieces that are knocked over or bumped off the board are removed. If a dog begs for the banana, your opponent gets to throw the peel. If it knocks over a king, then the player who's king remains wins immediately. If both players' kings are knocked over, then the player who threw the peel wins. If the peel bumps a piece of its original square without knocking it over, then the piece remains in play on its new square.

Revolution: if the king has 4 pawns of his own color around him, the pawns kill the king, making it impossible to checkmate you.

If your queen is totally surrounded by 8 pawns, the pawns turn into rooks and bishops

Much like cats always fall on their feet, monkeys always catch a thrown potato (even when thrown in the opposite direction).

Ragequitting by throwing the board is now a legal move

I thought of this rule earlier, but I saw this one somewhere else afterwards, so it might be here already:
If you get a pawn to the other side of the board, you can get a King. When you have more than one King on the board, neither King is royal and you do not need to get out of check, you can lose one or more Kings without losing the game. Check and checkmate re-enable for you when you’re down to one King again, and you only lose when your last King is checkmated.

The King's only have to stand side by side to feel invincible in the face of a Queen.

Finally, men have reached parity with women.

You should have 128 squares on the board, 16 pawns, 2 queens, kings, bishops, knights, and 2 rooks

1. It's a win-win!

If an illegal move was made to check a king even though the side that made the illegal move is in check, both sides win with a 1-1.

2. Foreigners

If a foreign object (say, a leaf) falls on the chess board, the side to move is skipped but the object is that side's to move. That object will move in the shape of a king+knight. If the side to move is in check, the object will automatically be moved to block the check. If there is no way to block the check, the side to move will have to move and the object will still be theirs.

Extra info to Foreigners:

You may stage for someone to place the object on the board, but it may only be done once.

If it is checkmate and the object falls, that object will carry over to the next game on the side of the player who lost. It will be placed on a3 or a6 depending on whether the next game the player whom the object belongs to plays as White or Black.

claiming a win if you do a illegal move

Generaly if you make a illegal move your apponent would stop it and the arbiter will give you one last warning. The game will continue. However,if you keep making illegal moves and make a illegal move for the second time your opponent would have a chance to claim victory. However, if you made an illegal move while your king is in check and your opponent didn't notice that and played another piece without paying attention to your illegal move, you can claim a win. because it's strange that you or the opponent make a illegal move why would you win. This happend in the World Blitz Chess Championship 2017 when Mangus Carlson lost Ernesto. Ernesto made a illegal move knight to E3 while his king was in check unfortunately Mr.Carlson responded with king to D3. After that,Ernesto claimed victory.

Anyone ever think of new chess rules for fun? Crazy, strange, whimsical or silly.

Here's one I came up with: The queen in addition to it's current capabilities could make a move like a Knight. However, upon completing this move the queen would be demoted to a pawn. Of course as a pawn it has the chance to be promoted again to a Queen if it reaches the back rank. Or if it makes a knight move that lands on the back rank it simultaneously demotes and promotes so it could become a queen again or any other piece.

Ok, now let's hear yours. The more far out the better.

Bishops can go out of the board
