I beat Komodo 11 so much times that I lost count
I can’t beat Komodo 12 yet (rating 1600)
I think I'm a high 900 right now down from 1030ish, I lost about 8 games yesterday and my 10 min rapid rating took a beating, lol. I've beaten a 1700 once or twice. Lately 1400 is kicking my behind as I'm in a chess slump (this happens periodically) thus my low rating
The way i look at it ....theres 2 components to being good.....knowing moves....traps....possibilities....threats.....and .......maintaining alertness to actually recognize them. I get in a hurry and struggle with the latter. One game I can play a game that's rated 1500 on performance..... The next game I lose to somebody with a 600 rating because I don't see obvious things
900 elo highest bot beaten is Oscar III crown (2100) I don’t play many real games, should I start? Cuz idk I get stressed and stuff
My rating on chess.com is 1566 and the highest rated bot i have defeated , was the Hikaru-bot ( 2820 )
I'm currently 831 in 3|2 (tilted slightly LOL) and I beat Coach David 2000 the other day. My rating is a touch higher in the longer games.
I'm like 250 in rapid but 400 in bot due to the fact that they make the most ridiculous blunders ever. I think I mated Coach Mae without any help, but I have no premium so I can only access like half of the bots ;-;
My blitz rating is 662 and I won against a 1800 without a time limit and comfortably against 1100 blitz. What is wrong with either my ELO or the bots rating? My puzzles rating is 1847 too. Am I just being too slow?
I thought it would be interesting to put these thread answers into one very goofy scatterplot, so here you guys go:
That's a nice way to look at it. Looks like the trend is for the highest bot a player beats is roughly 500 points higher. My ratings is 857, but I've only played around a dozen or so rated games (I generally just log in and play the bots). Highest I've beaten is 1800 (Wally, twice; Drew Remy-Rook as well). I generally beat Antonio (1500 bot), and can beat all the bots below that consistently. Going from Nelson to Antonio is a big change, as Nelson is really a teaching tool as to how to learn to deal with early Queen attacks (I see some people recommend Boxbox-bot, 1400 before Antonio, which is probably a good idea). My impression is that once I improve a bit, I should be able to handle Isabelle and Wally more consistently, particularly if I can get to an equal end game. While my endgame is very weak, the bots up to Wally, seem to just lose the plot entirely.
804 rapid and defeated Komodo 11 (rating 1500)
