I recently recorded a short 6 song E.P. titled Zugzwang. I have been a chess fan for many years now and decided on the title after studying the word's meaning and seeing a metaphorical relation to real life. In Chess Zugzwang is when an opponent would rather pass as any legal move on the board leads to a worse position. I relate this concept to real life and trying to be prepared for what life throws at me and avoid a position of feeling helpless.
