a : Humans and bots do not have the same abilities and play with different playing methods, for the elo ranking the human obtains in relation to the games they play while the bot has an elo given directly by the creator of the program.
b : Now if I take other chess programs there is an elo ranking against bots and often we are stuck in the 1700 to 2100 elo range and for ex. Shredder form cell phone plays "bullet" like the chess.com bots which means imo chess.com bots are overly humanized bots which makes them easier to beat.
c : As bots operate on a strong chess program they can always be potentially strong because they operate on the same chess program which has a strong playing strength.
How To Beat Bots (youtube.com) https://youtu.be/ye8TXMaRi6E?list=PL4KCWZ5Ti2H5gwaucEbFK3C0MtR2QT7Hh Hikaru experiencing many difficulties to beat one game against bot.Nemo (2300) even though he beats almost all the humans on chess.com.
d : Imo the difficulty and the challenge against bots, taking for example the Chessmaster program, is not to be able to win one, two games against for example Josh 12 years old (2100) but to be 2100 elo on the programm and it can be really difficult because as soon as we lose games we also lose elo points.
Yea, I don't think so. Every bot I have played on this site is rated anywhere from 250 to 750 points too high. I can regularly beat bots rated 2250 and 2300. My OTB rating is 1500 (this is a new account). I don't know how they rate their bots but these ratings are way off.
