An attack on the flank should be met by a counter attack in the center. At move 13. I think you had a won game. Instead of rc8 and nd7 which are shots in the dark, you might try a wait and see strategy with 13.re8. If he tries his harikari g4 stuff play e5 and if he just sits with his poor position:less space, bad bishop, pawn minus, expand on the queen side with b5 and such. Only thing you would have to be careful is not to open the position prematurly with e5 for his bishop and rf1.

ur play is equivalent to a 1100s, and ur opponets play is equivalent to a 1200. thatsrough estimate, but i dont think this actually happned. in case im wrong,

7.nb5 is dubious then ur nd6 check obviously loses a pawn, ur lost at this pawn.

im not gonna post further then that, because ur already lost by move 10

Yeah, taking the rook walked into it, at a glance, I think 32...Kf7 looks ok.

Yeah I see what you guys are saying with Qc2+, that was a huge mistake on my part.  I thought rook could block, but I was just imagining things.  I didn't realize my pawn could take after that.  This was my first time playing the french, but I don't think it is always this sharp right? The way he opened was suprising, and I don't exactly know why he blundered away the pawn, that didnt seem like something a 1700 would do.  I always see what firebrand and enigma are saying, I should kept my minors in front of my kingside and tried to go for e5.  This was my worst game of the tournament, and I was very disappointed after losing it.  I felt as though I had a great game but rd8+ was a complete oversight.  I wasted a lot of tempo early on, nd7 was not really ambitious and f6 wasted a tempo.
