A bit of help?

I'm trying to find a stronger player to help analyze this game for me - what I did right or wrong, what I could have done better, et cetera. This was possibly the most interesting game I have ever played, although I have a sneaking suspicion that I got very lucky  towards the end  because of a couple  mistakes from the other player.  I'm the one playing black.

this game had a number of blunders. yes, you did get a very lucky checkmate in the end :) looks like time pressure on both sides (white's queen was hanging!?). very lucky!

Well, I'm wondering what I can do to improve in games like this.  Also, is the opening I use viable? I've been cautioned about not bringing the queen out too early on.

it is a viable opening, but you did not play it totally correctly. generally you play pawn c6 to give you queen a square to come back through. i would say that you made your first mistake playing 20... Nd4 instead of 20... Bd6 hitting the queen and the h2 square and defending e5.

On move 13 you both blundered big your opponent gave you his Bishop for nothing you should have captured it with your Queen but you captured his Bishop on g4 instead and got the bad end of the exchange when he captured your Rook on d8

I think you should have played B-d6 around move 16 to bring his king out.

My first question is, Why would you bring you Queen out SO soon in the game, and then not use her at all?  I mean you just let her set on the side of the board an started developing your nights?

Or you could start threatening his open king to pin another of his pieces and gain on your development, again.

I would have droped her back to say line 7 and then bring out all the lower pices to take control of the center of the board, but that's just me...  Lets play some time and test it out.

18. ... Nc6 - no! This N is perfect.  Bd6 embarassing his h2 pawn!

21. ... b6 (you're about to pounce!)

22. Rxf5??  Nxf5??  - instead, 22. ... Ne2+ 23. Kh1 Nxg3+ 24. fxg3 exf5 wins the exchange, followed by Bd4 and Re8 to consolidate your position. You've got a piece for a pawn, the open file, and a great B.

26. ... Be5?!  Careful, that B is loose!

27. ... Ng3?? - instead, 27. ... Rxe4 28. dxe4 Nd6

28. Qxe5??? - instead, Qxh4+ and the N is lost too.
