A nice little trap in the ruy lopez

while this is a trap, it really isn't recommended to capture bxc6 in the Ruy Exchange Var.

Paul Keres suggested:

5. Nc3 d6 6. d4 f6 7. Be3 Ne7 8. Qd3 Be6 9. 0-0-0 Ng6 10. h4 h5 11. Nd2 a5 12. g3 exd4 13. Bxd4 Ne5 14. Qf1 Qb8 15. f4 With advantage to White.

I think the trap still works if u capture with the other pawn, and you are right after looking into it the other pawn is a bit better

I think my point is that after Bxc6 (Exch Lopez) it is well known that taking the e-pawn with the Knight is wrong. Most likely you will see d4 or 0-0. Then this trap doesn't work. So, if you're playing someone who doesn't know the first five moves of his chosen opening, it's deadly. Otherwise, you'll need to find a plan B.
