A reason why new players should not give up and resign

I was not ready for this attacking style and made several blunders in my panic and wanted to resign several times just to get away from this game. For some reason I stuck with it and managed to turn it around

Thanks! I got lucky to get the checkmate.  I expected I would force a draw by repeating checks because I was too scared to try anything else. Thankfully he made a mistake.
