A wicked version of Benko's opening

Hi everyone!

I've just rediscovered chess after twenty years away from the board. Yesterday I played my first game in the local chess club, and would very much like to hear what you people think. I played White, and lost, after being ahead a pawn after move 19. Obviously, I played the endgame wrongly. But what about until move 19? Was it just luck that I gained a pawn - because my opponent missed something - or was it decently played? Your thoughts are most welcome!

Since I already posted the game on my Chess.com blog, please add any comments you might have there. Thanks. Smile

Oh, and a note to the Chess.com Team: It would be great, if it would be possible to get a Computer Analysis of games played OTB (like the above), in addition to the ones played here on Chess.com. Wink

Thank you for a wonderful site!

Looks like a good battle, that you indeed should have won.  Have you figured out what your winning idea should have been?  I certainly like the idea of playing 27.g4 to create a passed pawn and also pin his bishop down to defense.
