ok I've seen a 2000 play like that before. But not make such a bad move. Great Game by the way.

It's odd what you pick up when going through a game. I had a glance through and thought "18.Rd1 was a bit slow, how about 18.Bh6?", and then happily for me it'd all been analysed so I didn't have to think about it, just got to reap the prettiness :D For some reason I thought Gonnu's subvariation 19...Bxe2 20.g4 was a particularly elegant touch.

Lap, congrats on a good game. it was really intereresting to follow it, you did really well until sth terrible happened at the end of the match. Sorry for being blunt but that mate was staring in your face and it is quite common a combination. It is nice to see you developing your skills constantly.
