Chess is a great game and has thousands of variations. I enjoy intense games where the I have to play my best it is very satisfying when the game is won. This is a game I played recently which I felt good about and I would like to share it with you so you can analyse and maybe learn from it. During the game I felt the heat of a possible defeat but I managed to turn it around with some counter-play.
You never know what is going to happen and advantages, tempo or even victory can be gained with one move or lossed with one mistake. In this game I was on the back foot but used subtle tactics to tip the odds in my favour.
He attacked first, I managed to hold him off and flip his tempo on him enabling me to catch him off guard and win. Please take a look at the game and read my commentary. I would also be grateful to read some of your views on the game to see what other people think. Smile
