Analyzing my Games June 26 - #1

Your opponent made blunders and you made good use of them.
But why do you ask help if you have already analyzed it yourself?

I'm not really asking for help I'm just posting them for my own benefits and if I did miss something it would be nice for someone to point it out, but sill, its mostly for my benefits. :P

By move 10 I like your position in which you have a large space advantage. but you made an inaccuracy on move 2 playing 2. e5 which I presume you played b/c you thought it would give you a large space advantage-which it did but b/c your opponent failed to take advantage of it. Your opponent could have simply played 2...d6! with at the very least equality and maybe even a slight advantage imo.
Instead of playing e5 on the 2nd move, which at first sight appears to gain space you should play thje main line 2.d4. Then after 2...d5 you can play 3.e5-The French Advance Variation. This is a variation you might want to start out with against the French before learning the better lines (3. Nc3). It eventually offers equality for black anyways (not instant equality though lol like after 2...d6 if 2.e5) but at least it is definately playable and learning the theory in this variation isn't particularly hard at all.
