A backrank mate? Looks simple enough...
Notice that black can avoid backrank mate with 26...h6. I showed in the second post. It does lose, anyway.
By the way, I chosed this game for it's simplicity in many aspects. For us, amateurs, the Immortal looks fun, but does not help too much in learning game concepts.
This game shows good concepts in an easier way than the depth sacrifices of Anderssen's famous games.
When we talk about Adolf Anderssen people often remember about espetacular sacrifices and tatics in games like the Evergreen and the Immortal.
However, I have a game where he wins majorly by better development and, instead of sacrifices, maneged to get material advantage. I would like to show you.
(Absolutly ALL the analyses made by me. Sorry in case of mistakes and please tell me if you find them)
