Just from looking at it, I would just try to simplify the position. When you are up more than your opponent, I like to simply just to make it is easier and also to get rid of any counterplay my opponent might have. You can't counter-attack without pieces.
Any advice?
6...Nh6 Knight on the rim = dim. White now gets several occasions to win with Bxh6 shattering your pawns. Why not the natural 6...Nf6
8...O-O fails to 9 Bxh6. You had to capture Bxd3
This goes on and on: white can win with Bxh6 and black should move the knight to prevent that.
On move 32 instead of blundering the queen white could win with Nxd5.
At move 32 I didn't know what to do. He made a blunder giving away his queen, but I'd have no idea what to do otherwise. Any advice?
I'm a beginner, but am I doing the right things in this game? I focused on not giving away pieces
