Avoiding the Draw

This as the end of an internet game that I just finished. I played black. Stupidly, I rushed the end, and it ended as stalemate, the sequence I have shown below:

However, looking back, I can't see how I can I avoid the draw. Am I being stupid? Or can I do no better than a draw from the starting position?

here's what you could do... should do because it's a winning game for black

after the move Kh1 you should have ket him take your pawn, you would get to his white pawn first and if you have your king infront of your pawn you can sistematicly win, like this:

TwoMove

I have messed up worse than this, but in inital positon if play Kf5, aiming to win c pawn, and using h pawn has decoy, there are no technical problems at all to get win.

Thanks guys that's brilliant. I'm trying to get a feel for endgame scenarios: some of them look SO DAMN similar: especially mutual zugzwangs: i can never remember whether its white or black who's screwed!

Anyway, my point is, does anyone know of any good resources for endgame strategy/tactics? On this website or maybe externally?
