Hello,

I am not really a talented chess player but I usually try to find ways of playing good King Indian Attack.

Here is a game against a player with 500 ranking higher. I played quite good and there is a very nice tachtical confrontation in the middle game.

I resigned with time problems and a knight difficult to save.

But after analyzing, so you the experts thing that this position is still playable?

I think that is quite an entertaining game. Is well played?

Thanks for your oppinions.

BY THE WAY: I want to be in my university championship. Is possible to have a good improvement playing hard for 6 months? What can I do?

The best advice I can give you is to play as much as you can and study tactics.  When you aren't playing or studying tactics, study tactics some more.

Any thoughts on the game?

My thoughts: I don't know why he didn't chase away your knight with b5 but I would have used it and played a4 to get myself an "artificial support point" for said knight.

Also that king manouver of yours seems highly dubious if I am not misstaken. If you wanted to attack his king with pawns, then it seems you weakened yourself more than you weakened him!

Please keep in mind that I don't usually play KIA. This was just what occurred to me when reviewing your game.
