The white knight is threatening to win a pawn and fork your king and rook by Nxf5.
If you protect the pawn by 1..Re5 then comes 2.Rd7+ and 3.Rxa7.
The idea 1..Re1+ 2.Kg2 f4 loses to 3.gxf4 gxf4 4.Kf3 Re4 5.Rxd5 Nxd5 6.Kxe4.
You could try 1..Rf7.

Depends how deep the analysis provided is. Or whether the ideas discussed remain applicable. Note that zxcv1's answer covers the resulting position.
yeah.. but after 3.Rxa7.. i've thought of a plan to over come that.. well i dunno if it'd work but its my own... zxcv1 never mentioned anything after 3.Rxa7
