Bullet against a 2700

So I've not been playing for long; 2 months ago I was rated 1500 and I thought 1600 was way out of my league. Now I'm 1800 and I had been posing for a while playing unrated.
Turns out I'd have to play this guy... So I thought, at move 19 "Why not sacrifice my queen for a pawn?".
Check it out.

I think for bullet chess you did extremely well. You were playing in a really crazy manner. And bravely too!

ArcanePhilosopher

I agree, it appears to be a strong game considering the opposition.

Except he has 41. b5 Kg4 42. Kxe4 Kxh4 43. Kf3 Kh3 44. f5 +-

heinzie

Are you sure? It seems white promotes about three moves earlier with 43. Kf3

heinzie

Except black has a king in front of his pawn which costs him an awful amount of time

henryoliver

perhaps 37. ... h6 wins?

JFranklynWhitehead

Thank you Wilson, under no time pressure I would have considered that move. After 41. b5, 42. Kg4, Kxe4. 43. Kxh4, f5. 44. Kg5. This would force white to move his king to e5. Then I would be queening one move later BUT there would be no skewers and it seems difficult for white to keep me in check. I think the position is drawn?

heinzie

Please give another diagram or I have no idea what you're aiming at

Doomclaw

Doesn't 5. Bxg7 work?

Ah, so providing he played b5 he would have won. Oh well. I think I did quite well overall.

heinzie

That's why you play the sneaky 43. Kf3 and black's king is in the way.

Yes, it does. The move previous was a mistake.
