cannot legally move...what happens?

Hi,

I searched for this topic but couldn't find anything, so apologies if this has been answered before.

I am playing a game on chess.com and it is in the endgame. I have my king and three pawns left (none of which can move as they are blocked) and the only move i could make would be to move my king into check, what happens under the rules of the game?

I think chess.com automatically draws the game in this case. Did that not happen ?

If you're in check, you've been checkmated and lose.

If you're not in check, you've been stalemated and draw. 

Great thanks - I was on the point of resigning and i could see a way to get to stalemate, which I thought would draw, but the analysis function on chess.com didn't show a draw...so wanted to double check.
