Stockfish is "open source" software so I think you'd have the same engine as everyone else. The commercial engines I'm not so sure about. Any experts reading this?

If you had a computer completely equal in RAM & everything else to the ones they use at the Computer Chess Championship would an engine be able to run at the same strength as a "professional" engine or do they add more to commercial engines than the personal versions ?
