Yes, it's possible.
In the Play Store there are many different apps integrating a chess analysis engine; it is almost a matter of taste and of course if you consider only free of charge apps or not.
My short list of suggestions on this topic is:
1) Chessify - free of charge, nice interface with OCR capabilities for importing 2D chess boards positions
2) Analyze This - free of charge, but with some limitations in terms of loading games since exist a "pro" version
3) Chessbase - not free (10 euro), but beside the chess engine offers the access to the ChessBase online opening Database (of course a network connetion is required)
4) Droidfish - free of charge, probably the most "nerdy" app, no longer on the Play Store ( I do not know the reason), but available from several links

sometimes i'd like to have a chess engine available when i'm offline with my Android phone. Is it possible?
Usually I use Chess integrated analysis but it works only with network
