i just beat1846 rated player and mine rating was 1450 in chessmaster. I want to know what actuall rating of 1846 compt. player will be in fide rating(if comparision is possible). Bcoz i thought he made quite blunder and mistakes. I am currently unrrated player in fide. By looking my game, should i think of participating in rated tournaments? ofcourse i can see myself by participating in rated tournament but still want fellow members have there say. Here i am posting my game. Tell me whether i deserve win with my other questions. Thanks in advance

Thing I found with the personalities in chessmaster, is that they always make the same mistake.  Once you know "their" openings and the mistakes they make you can just "repeat" the same games over and over.

really ? Anyway i played him first time.

as far as i know personality 'Vlad' plays quick and use limited deep + it use thinking on ur move so i guess u just played fast enough 2 bit him, and 2 add on chessmaster characters at rank 1500 or even more ofen drop a piece if u play fast enough in openings

No no actually when i finish the game i was only left with 2 min. Bcoz of my phone call, i left the match for nearly half hr and i am very slow player. I always run out of time

Why do you even ask if it's a "deserved win" or not? Of course it is, just like every win! Besides, you've apparently completely outplayed the guy, good game! Normally chessmaster personalities give a whole piece and then play like a super grandmaster to make things even. This time your opponent didn't even hang a piece, you had to use some tactics to take advantage of his mistakes, so good job. Smile

About playing rated OTB tournaments, I don't think you can go wrong with that. If you have the opportunity and you like chess, why not? You don't have to be the strongest of players to enjoy such activity.
