Work on your tactics. Instead of 12. Qd1??, 12. Qe4+ Be7 13. Qxd4 c6 14. Nxf6+ gxf6 15. Qxd8+ Rxd8 16. Ne3 keeps the extra piece, stops the ... Nc2+ fork threat, and picks up a pawn.

I'm clearly not good enough to notice the Qe4+, but with help from my fellow chess.com members and from playing a lot, I will start noticing these things I'm sure :P

Flirt all you want, but I used to be quite bad at this game, too. If I can do it, so can you.
kind of....
I was down and being checked almost every move and then my opponent made a mistake and I had a chance to advance my pawns.
I got two extra queens and then played around with my opponents pieces until I found a checkmate position.
