Computer player stuck at this point

When I (Black) move my Queen from d3 to e2, the Computer moves its Rook from d1 to e1. When I move my Queen back to its original position (d3), Computer retracks its move as well. And it goes on indefinitely. What can I do in this situation? I don't want to lose due to a inferior move than this one (that is, moving my Queen from d3 to e2). Please help!

Are you sure that your Black rook is positioned on c1?

If so, I would just exchange the queen for rook, and then promote the pawn on b2 to a queen.

 Yes, am sure about that.

And I didn't get your move! Pawn on b2 would take way long time to reach to the opposite end and become a Queen. By that time opponent would get thrashed me down with his positionings. :(

Looks to me like you either have to accept draw by repetition or lose your queen.

Apologies for my naivety, the_invincible, but I couldn't get your comment. What do you mean by rank?

And I just cross checked the board; it's exactly same as where I'd left the game (after taking a screenshot).

Board is set up wrong and there is no draw.

intelinsight, the board you posted is upside down, in the game you posted the b pawn is one step form promoting

the best I can see is just to repeat those moves 3 times and you got a draw, doesn't look like a winning position

neneko, I'm playing as Black. Why do you think that the board is upside down? This board is what was offered as the default by the chess.com's Computer to me. I'm puzzled.

White begins on lines 1 and 2, while black has its pieces on lines 7 and 8. So for whatever reason, the board was set up wrong.

you see the numbered rows right? number 1 to 8. White starts on 1 and black starts on 8. When a black pawn gets to rank 1 it gets promoted, when a white pawn gets to rank 8 it gets promoted. On the board you posted the black b-pawn would be promoted in one turn and the white g-pawn would be promoted in one turn.

Thanks neneko, Sunshiny, I got it. I can't understand though, that for some strange reason Computer (White) started at numbers 7, 8. Anyway, would you like to have a game with me, sometime? :)

I would capture the pawn with your rook (Rxf3) and then you could get both a pawn and a rook in exchange for your queen as well as leaving two of his pawns on their own. This may not be the best of all things but it is not terrible and will keep the game moving.

Yes, true, alma_eterna! :)
