computer suggested move

Why do computer suggest this, when it is easy to take knight with pawn or queen. Play vs computer king is moved to d8.

bc if he takes with either queen or pawn, you play Nd6 double-check and then Qe8 checkmate

So basically white will just take the free rook in the corner on the next turn and be up a piece and be winning.
