computer's computation will never supercede human's perspective afterall..

I just finished a game with a player 600+ ratings higher than me.. the opening went well for me. [at least in my point of view, the computer analysis (2000 rating for free basic members like me) disagrees]

i never thought that i have so many flaws in my moves before this game was analyze.. IN FACT, im devoting not less than 2 hours a day in this position solely because i'm thrilled playing such strong opponent and i want to know how far will i go..  over the board analysis on this game, i decided my first mistake is at least at move 13.. I'M WRONG!! so i am actually thankful that even free basic members like me has a chance to have my game analyze by the computer once a week..

during this game, a tourney with a theme of modern defense, i launch a premature kingside assault, i castled long for the purpose of pawn storming the castle but made a lot of innacuracies and eventually fallen into heavy material deficit..

i titled my post this way because with this "ANALYZED" game, at some point i am a rook down and the computer keeps suggesting a move that exchanges the queen..

and of course, no human would ever trade queens when down material unless forced! so computer's computation, I BELIEVE, will never supercede human's perspective afterall.. in this game i am definitely defeated at 21. Ne3+ but i chose to play and survive until 32 moves later..

please, give me some insights with moves:

a) 13. h4? - my plan here is to pawn storm the castle.. how should i attain this goal? if it is impossible, what should be my plan then? (the game has transposed to sicilian dragon if im not mistaken, right?)

b) 14. Rdf1 - is Be2 really necessary? wouldn't i be at a disadvantage if i have 2 knights against bishop and knight in such open positions?

c) 18. Na1 - what do you think of the only alternative Ne4?

last:

d) i know if not to tactical inaccuracy for black i should have been lost early on but what do you think of the position after 48. Kxa2 Qc2+.. is there any saving resource that i've missed? if there is, please give me some variations so that i will study it when i have  a free time..

thanks in advance to those who will help me..Laughing good gaming to all of you!

cheers!Tongue out

I think your initial mistake was a conceptual one.

You were fixated by a King-side attack when maybe other (better?) plans were available.

Look at the following position:

Qd2 pretty much telegraphs your intentions. You intend to castle Queen-side (into the attack, by my way of thinking) and smash through on the King-side.

Bd3 is more flexible and allows your King to castle short, followed by active operations on the Queen-side or in the centre.

I'd be looking at weak squares (b5, c7,e5) and castling King-side.

yes i guess you're right there.. it's just when my opponent played 3.... c5 that i got pretty much uncomfortable.. no matter how i look at it, it will transpose to sicilian dragon..

it's just that most of the me vs. crafty games i've played with this variation ended up on me being pawnstormed by crafty (and crafty castles long each time).. so i adapted the plan..

it's not that i intend too castle long early anyway.. i came to a point where i can castle from either side.. but you come straight to my psychology, my preconception clouded my vision to look for other plans..

i'll make sure to widen my vision next game..

thanks for the comment, sir!
