Perhaps he already know & is just taking it as a time pass? I never saw him (the GM) favouring bullet. Just because he plays a bit of bullet, doesn't mean that he disagrees with the NM. And even if the GM does so (i'm not saying he does), there are alot more players & masters who disfavours bullet (and blitz) rather than who favours.

Those who favours bullet are just expressing their views while the others who disfavours, are mostly saying the truth!

And i believe most people are steamed up seeing his usage of language & the repetition that his rating is undefined & he's just trying to find it out himself while he could simply do so, by playing a few rated games.

Their goal is to win the match, not provide a spectacle for the onlookers. If Anand beats Carlsen early on, Carlsen will have to play for a win, which Anand doesn't want. Therefore Anand should draw the early games.
