Was your opponent eavesdropping on you while you were reviewing your anti-King's Indian Defense opening study before your 2020 Washington State Championship round four game? If not, the answer was no — they were not using foul methods in this game.
Did my opponent cheat?
I am a somewhat weak player and I match the engine as high as 80-90% of the moves in some (more than half of) games. Most of the CDC analysis (ok, we know its weak) remarks on my games are 'an alternative is x to y', apart from my screw ups. The better you are, the more you match the engines. Throw in a bunch of repetitive moves where there is nothing better and a longer than usual opening line, and the match % goes up more.
There is a place to report suspected cheaters. But honestly, who cheats out to a draw?

Wait what? this feels suspiciously worded

Hello all,
I am a 1900-2000 level player and just recently I played this game against another roughly 2000 level player, and while the game did end a draw I could not help but feel as if I was facing an engine due to how little opportunity I was given.
I understand your concerns, but the open forums aren't really the proper place for this type of discussion. (I suspect a mod will eventually find this thread and possibly lock it.) If you're really concerned about this, I'd suggest that you join the club titled "Cheating Forum", where more latitude is given to discussing cheating. You can also find a download link to the PGN-Spy program that you can use for added insight to games of interest. (There are separate threads on how to use the program.)
