Recently, I played a game against someone and used a tactic that I've been using lately to win, which is this.
Basically, in the opening-early midgame there's the ability (with mostly lower ELO players and not that many players with ELOs within/above 500-700, I'm assuming) to use a bishop and a queen to checkmate your opponent by attacking their weak kingside. It goes a little bit like in the position I posted above.
You have to attack a weak pawn & make sure your queen can't be taken to do this. What I normally do for this is that I let out my bishop & queen as early as I can, and if I'm lucky: I can coordinate an attack on the weak pawn.
(sorry for my incomprehensible and overly drawn out explanation, btw)

Personally, I call it the "QBazooka Mate" because I'm uncreative af and can't think of a proper name for it. (or i just don't have to think of a name for it at all? i don't know)
