Double Gambit

This was one of my few wins in online chess. I felt really impressed with myself and defeating a player of such higher rating. I was hoping for some feedback from anyone on this game. I felt like mate was much closer, but I took the slow and steady route of wiping out all his pieces then advancing my pawns. Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry this was also the first game Ive posted and it's backwards. I played as black and clearly black wins. Sorry about the confusion.

Your endgame could use some work. I'm pretrty sure you could've won a lot quicker. Apart from that, white made a few really bad mistakes and you took advantage nicely.

You played as black? 2...d5 loses against 3.Qh5+ so you got lucky

Also, 1...f5 is a horrible response to 1.e4

No need to look any further

Thanks for looking but I was hoping for something constructive.

As far as specific moves go, I'm not going to post many notes because there are really improvements on most every move by both sides. I will note that Sothilde is correct on your first few moves. What's going on on moves 36 and 37 though?

More to the point though, general themes of improvemnt:

Don't give away free material without some direct compensation (either forced material win or a big positional advantage, like an attack against the opposing king). Watch your king's vulnerability. Develop your pieces quickly. Look at your opponent's moves, plans, and threats (this is BIG). There's a good deal more, but master these first, and then when you get stuck again, post another game and get more advice.
