The "CAPS conversion table" I assume you are talking about is from the initial release of CAPS back in 2017. It was never meant to be a conversion table and at any rate is no longer valid because CAPS was completely revised last year.
Estimated elo is weird

Stockfish does take your current elo into account to match it with the accuracy you played at. Not sure why.
Why is the estimated elo system so weird? I got a game with 93.1 accuracy, which is, according to the CAPS conversion table, about 2250 OTB, and OTB elos are typically lower than chess.com (me being an exception, but that does not matter). However, game review gave me an estimated elo of 1650. So it is clearly affected by the fact my opponent was lower-rated, but the logic with estimated elo just seems so weird.
