I think white is better in this position.
After black retakes the knight to avoid losing a piece, white should 0-0-0. Blacks move now... and black can not castle yet b/c if he plays 0-0 then white can respond with Bxh7+ hanging the bishop to attack the queen with the rook.
So black is probably not gonna castle!
That leaves black sitting around in the center with the 2 center files both open & white having a power piece on each.
White is better here
I think paul is right. I couldn't find improvements over his moves, so to me it also  looks like black is pretty lost. I've put them in the diagram below.
So d5 was fatal...What should i have played instead?
