First Annotated Game- Help with improving the game and the annotation

This is my first ever annotated game. I thought i'd try it after reading "Studying Chess Made Easy" by A. Soltis.

It was a 10min game at around 1300 level. It was the first game I had played after reading the section in the book.

I would love advice on improving the game, and the annotation.

Thanks.

It was clear from your annotations that you were fixated on attacking the king and missed 13. Nc5, which would've wrecked Black's queenside. More importantly though, why did you want to attack the king?

I`d read somewhere that one of the plans for the Kings Indian, is that if you play it, its best to attack the kingside.

This is true, i wasnt really concentrating on finding the best move, just a good move that fitted with my thinking.

You might mean queen? I dont like them, never have. Its a fault in my playing that i need to get rid off.

Thankyou, :).

Thanks for that, in this game i was really focused on attacking the kingside, I had decided to attack it, and I was too inflexible.

Thanks, be prepared for more blunders and clumsy moves in the future!
