First game for analysis

So this is my first analysis and I miss clicked move 23. So I would just like your input for the first 23 moves of the game.

I thought my opponent was playing not so super since he started with 1... h5. I still think the game was interesting though. Should have won this I think.

Ah yes. You may rightly complain about the old unintentional queen sacrifice. However,  the three moves where you left mate in 1 open for your opponent would have killed you quite decisively earlier.

Based on that, it's hard to agree that you should have won.

It is good that you want to examine the game and try to learn from your mistakes. We all can learn from such things.  You shouldn't feel too badly.

I know you wanted to hear someone agree that you should have won but I hope that this will encourage you to examine games on your own first before you submit them.

You are not even trying to get an attack going after his weakening of the kingside. Trying to get a queen on G6 would help much in punishing him for his bad opening.

I was not looking for confirmation. It was just the last game I had played. I had completely missed the Rc2# move.

Any tips on how I best analyze my own games would be great. I have tried to use chess.com's computer analysis but I am not sure I always get the ideas it suggests.
