I've won 1700+ ranked OTB (On The Board) before but somehow I'm more proud of this victory. My mind wasn't fully focused and after I got left behind in the opening (in my opinion) I managed to get the win with a nice queen trade after which I was a knight ahead.

Opponents biggest mistake was not taking the knight back right away? Would you traded the Queens in his shoes (I wouldn't, he's stronger player than me and can extract more value than I could, in theory)

Did my endgame look good or were there moves where he could turn the game around?

Thanks! :)

Why isn't e4 hanging after 6. d4 exd4 7. cxd4?  Qxe4+ seems good.

I would do the same thing.

I don't know about the opening, I haven't learned any openings.

I can't remember seeing 3...Qe7 in the Spanish before & had to look it up in Game Explorer - it's the  'Ruy Lopez: Vinogradov Variation'.
