Fischer Random starting position number?

Sort:
QuestionCosmos

I guess my question falls under the topic of 'analysis'?

I know that each fischer random starting position has its own number. But when I'm playing fischer random games here, how do I find out the number of the starting position I am playing?  It's not listed under the 'Info' tab in the game. Do I have to go to some other site/google search to find out, or does Chess.com have the starting positions/numbers listed somewhere here... and I just don't know where to find it?

Help appreciated. happy  (Asking because I was just served up a fischer random starting position that I really like and think is interesting. I'd just love to know what number it is, out of curiosity.)

I'm not aware of that being available anywhere

@Martin_Stahl - When I watch fischer random tournaments, they say the (presumably 'official') number of the starting position of each game. Which makes sense. If so many players are pushing for fischer random to be legitimized, then it makes sense that each position will be cataloged in some way.

Chess players do obsess over details, after all. tongue
