Hello!

here i was losing... and for a blunder... i resign after i made it because it leads to mate in a few moves...

actually it was a great game, i thought i am in a good condition until move 23 and then i realize that i am not... and i fight for my life...

in move ...31 i decided to get the king close to the center after i cannot avoid the queens exchange - and then the endgame start and i think i handle it pretty well... until the blunder at move ...48

please check it and give me a notes about my game - i am eager to learn from my mistakes - thank u!

As maybe you see in my opinion your main mistake was that you opened a lot. Your pawns went to far and you made hols for your oponents pices to go trough. Your pawns musnt go far in opening and early midle game...that's my opinion

galchess, you are largely right to say that you were OK up to move 23. White has missed a couple of opportunities, and the position is quite even. 23...f4? is definitely an error, and white quickly gains a significant advantage.

You a good job of limiting the damage, and white does not play the best moves, and then they start making mistakes letting you back into the game. 45 Rd1 really let's you back in, and the 46. h4?? suddenly puts you ahead when you correctly continue 46...Rxg2+. But now, with a possibility of a win, you unfortunately missed 47... Rf2+ which could be followed by 48. Ke1 Bd3, and you may be able to make your advanced pawns count.

Also, I'm sorry to say, you may have resigned prematurely. The rooks will not be able to close the net, and your advanced pawns give you good chances to make trouble. After 49 Ra7+ Ke8 50. Rh6 you still have Rf2+ allowing your rook to block the mating move Rh8. Now with your c pawn and g pawn, you should be able to keep white occupied, and any slip up could lead to a win for you.

So I guess the general points are

1) Watch out for those tactics!

2) king_warrior is right in that overstretching can be a problem, though those advanced pawns actually save the day in the end, so a balance needs to be struck.

3) Don't give up too soon! Though I must admit I would probably have done the same, particularly with short time controls, by assuming that there was no way to stop the rooks.

An interesting game - thanks for posting it, and I hope that this is helpful Smile

Ya, 23 ... f4 did you in. You couldn't afford to open that diagonal, yet. Consider moves like 23 ... Ra7 or Bb7. I'm not sure you want to trade your knight off after f3. Moving it back to f6 might be better. His knight at f2 is weaker than yours.
