I didn't like 28.f5+, since it allowed your opponent to get the black King to f4 and ultimately both protect the passed pawn and support the mate. The position after black's 28th move is strategically won for white, in my opinion. I would keep black tied down, by slowly increasing the bind on the position. This would be done by means of activating your King and moving it up to g3. I'd consider the idea of moving the Bishop back to c1 and only then playing f5+. My feeling is that you tried to win too quickly.
