I guess this will make me look like an idiot.... Been playing for a couple of weeks and still learning... I didn't expect to be offered another Queen. I was expecting a Rook.
I still don't get it... I thought that the new Queen would finish the game because there's no place for the White King to move and no direct threat on my Queens....
Game End.
Thanks, I guess that explains why I avoided Check-mate myself because they couldn't make that play either. Just block the queen was available.
Did you finish the game in the quickest way with a1Q+ Qb1 Qxc3+ Qc2 Qxc2#? Why were you expecting a rook when you got the pawn to a1? If you get a pawn to the last rank you can choose to promote it to any piece you like. In your settings is the option to 'auto queen' which means your pawn will automatically promote to a queen because this is best 99% of the time and it saves time in quick games. If you dont have auto queen on, a pop up box will appear with the pieces in and you can choose.

So I achieve my second Queen and expected to Check-Mate which didn't occur. White was able to move her Queen. I did still end winning the game though. Would this be a bug. My opponent
has mentioned experiencing the same issues.
