Game Explorer Biased by Time Control?

Regarding chess.com Game Explorer and the moves/lines shown:

Apparently more and more players are playing Rapid, Blitz and Bullet games. In fact, I recently heard a comment that Bullet (Rapid) chess is becoming the new Classical (might have been Danny Rensch but I’ve heard it many times) .

If that’s true, is it fair to say that the moves and lines shown in Game Explorer are becoming biased (more sharp) simply because the database is collecting more and more very short time control games?

Seems like that might be worth considering if you’re using this tool to study any particular line and also typically play longer (Classical) time controls.

As far as I know, the games in the explorer are master level over the board classical slow chess games.

If you have other information, please provide a source/ reference.

It's true that your own games reflect the time controls you play. But that doesn't affect the database.

Oh, well if they’re over the board classical slow games than that puts my question to rest. Guess I assumed that games played on their servers would be the most obvious and cost effective way of collecting data (and they have lots of master level players online). I’ll have to check that out. Thanks for the feedback.
