Game Resigned...?

In a recent game, I won by resignation. It was a close game. But I'm not sure why my opponent resigned. WIth the pieces left, he could have manuevered a draw, but instead, he resigned. I'm posting it here to see if the community has any ideas. I posted the entire game, for those of you who want to view it, but the end (about move 38 and onward) is the area of interest. I apologize for the annotations being cut off (or going the length of the page). I'm not sure what is wrong.

That position is, indeed, a draw. Perhaps he was leaving the site and decided to resign all his games?

Maybe he thought he couldn't prevent your pawn from queening with your king so close. (Although he could).

Yes.

It would work thus: 43... Kxh3 44. Kf3 and now his king just keeps yours boxed in forever... completely drawn.

No, because I played a rematch game shortly after that game. I'm completely stumped.
