http://www.chess.com/livechess/game.html?id=39645571 please tell me what you think of this game, being that so many of you are highly rated.

How did white play, intelligently, few blunders, or moves need more thought? same question for black.

What feature on this website should each color look to for improovment on their specific weaknesses.

                                                                           ~Thanks :)

Serious mistake on Black's side on the final stalemate. Although White played quite well with what he had.

Although a game this long means that both of you were quite a match for each other :)

Yes, and you were winning, up a piece, with an outside passed pawn, until 35. Ra6??

Rb7 would have been better, defending the bishop and preventing any back-rank threat possibilities. And after that, you left the knight hanging to create luft for your king. Back-ranks aren't that scary!

46...g5 was a blunder too; Kh5 would have won for black. On move 52, instead of Kf1, you could have drawn easily with Kg1. But I have to applaud you for not resigning. ;) I would have tipped the king after being a piece down.

you did a lot of blunders in the opening as well as in the end gane on the 34th move instead of a4 u should have moved be6 that would protect you night pin  the pawn and also your rook would be free of protecting the bishop the u should ave followed by rxf7 that would pose multiple threats against black and and eventually you would have won ....... i will give you one tip pin is very strong usually u lose a piece if there is 2 or more threats on a pinned piece so look for pin and escape the pin...gl btw

Revise king and pawn endings, in addition to all the above. With correct play, if the stronger King is behind his pawn you should be able to draw the ending you reached, without having to rely on your opponent being unable to win with K+Q v K.

I think Nxb5 instead of d5 was better. Also, the Qe2 move seems awkward with the bishop still on f1.

take a look at good openings and try not to bring the queen out early... those tips helped me up from 900s to 1100s =)

Another technical point (which yeres30 knows perfectly well!) is that Black must keep the g-pawn in the ending with the Bishop on the board. If he carelessly comes down to an ending with dark bishop and h-pawn versus bare king, the White King makes a beeline for h1 and he can't be forced out of it by a Bishop of the wrong colour. The Black King alone can't force him out either and the most he can achieve is stalemate. That said, a piece to the good, it's easy to win both White pawns as shown.

Not that I really have any business butting in when a 2500-rated player is talking...! Cool
