Help please. Why not a draw?

I just played a blitz game against someone else and it was clearly a stalemate. So I tried pressing the draw button. It wouldn't let me draw though and so I lost on time. I'm wondering why. http://www.chess.com/livechess/game.html?id=101561254

Not a stalemate, but I guess you meant draw by repetition.   The rule as I know it is that the exact same position repeated itself 3 times.   Judging from the game, it did so I'd ask the support staff to look into it.

You sometimes cannot press the Claim Draw button fast enough to get a draw by repetition.

Edit: Looks like more explanation is required. As described in the link, your draw offer must come after your move but before your opponent can respond. So, if your opponent quickly moves or premoves before you can click the Claim Draw button you cannot claim the draw.

If you clicked the draw button any time after move 53, then the game should have ended in a draw immediately. If you never pressed the draw button after that time, then you rightfully lost the game if your flag fell.

I did mean draw by repetition, and I did click the draw button multiple times after move 53 up until around 67 and the I gave up haha. I guess I'll ask the support staff
