How 'bout this!

What do you think about this game?

Great return I may say.

Just press solution and follow the game!!

After looking it over, both sides played adequately, except a few mistakes I saw.  For instance, by the second move, black moved his Queen out too early.  Better would have been Bf8 - Bc5 which would have given extra support to the center while maintaining defence on the eighth rank, since black's Queen would be positioned there.

On move 20...Rfd1, black should have seen what was coming.  Instead of Qd7, which seemed like an unimportant move that resulted in loss of tempo, Qc7 would have been better.  Because of this costly mistake, white could have easily lost.  But white lucked out.  All in all, I enjoyed this game very much and it gave me food for thought on top of that.  :)

I disagree. Both sides played very poorly.

3. ... d5 simply gives away a pawn for no reason at all

6. ... a6 terrible. Why attack the bishop, it's already attacked. More important is that white can play Qxe5 and black does nothing to prevent it.

7. g3. No purpose to this move. White fails to play Qxe5+

11. ... a5. Fails to address the attack on the e5 pawn in order to make a cheap threat of pinning the queen.

13. dxe5. Completely overlooks the cheapo trap that was set.

14. Nh4 loses a bishop for no reason at all.

20. ... Qd7 just missing the one move threat against the queen.

Black then gives back the extra piece on move 26 to 30. At least it wasn't a one move threat this time.

Black then just allows white to take all this pawns.

Painful to watch.

not a very well played game...on move 56, Qf5#. How much time did you have per move?

ShinoAburame

it was a pretty brutal game lol, plenty of mistakes but it was interesting

There are times this looks like chess, but much of the time it looks like complete nonsense. You need to play (a lot of) chess against some stronger players... 1300-1500... so you can get a feel for the basic importance of material advantage. A 1500 player will make short work of you if you make the sames kinds of mistakes as you make here. This will force you to think a bit more and learn to avoid giving away material (and to take material when it's given to you for free).
