Yeah, it's not an obvious win. Nb5 has two threats. Nxc7 fork and Bd3 to trap the queen.
I think you should take some time to analyze this position, preferably without the engine. There are some lines where black can get away with the queen but seems to always either lose a piece or worse.
Hi everyone. Please help me analyze this. I often see missed wins but it seems as though the computer is looking several moves down the line. Thanks for your input!
hi! so the mate in this situation would most likely be mate-in-two for white.
the move, for white, that would be made after this would be bishop on f3 to g5, this piece is protected by the knight, so it is probably not going to be taken.
and then the last move that you would make would be taking the pawn on c7 with the knight, which would be checkmate.
black might see this mate and try to block it, but i think that's what the computer is trying to get at.
I dont blame you, i missed it for a second when i saw this post, it looks like other people beat me to it by explaining, what rank are you may i ask

Okay, too obvious. As I analyze it, it is definitely a missed win, of course. Why?
The lonely pawn on c7 is undefended and the knight can easily jump onto b5, ready to capture it and fork both the king and the rook, where the king has to move and the rook will fall after that. Your move Bc4 is not only a missed win, but also a weak move that develops poorly around the centre squares, and does not exploit any of the weaknesses of the enemy pieces, which can then develop easily one after another, ready to join the battle against your pieces.
