I can't figure out how to stop white's most common opening against Sicilian

what the heck is this. stop playing the Sicilian at 600. nobody will know 1 move of theory besides you lmao

you did that-

also yeah just play it and stop worrying about the opening.

I hope this doesn’t sound insulting, but that game was horrendous. You aren’t losing because of some subtle opening move order.

Practice tactics. Forget about the openings until you get MUCH better.

Also I don’t know what time control was there, but play daily games until you are better. Show it down. eliminate blunders.

I just now come to realize that this may be a troll thread, and we all fell for it.

I have been trying to play the Sicilian Dragon recently but have run into an issue that I don't know how to respond to the following white move order: e4, Nf3, Bc4. I feel like I get pulled out of the Dragon quickly and never recover. I see this move order a lot, or sometimes with bishop first and then the knight. Any suggestions?

This is a dumb order by white, and is certainly not the best. You can punish it, but I suggest playing the French Sicilian and going for the Taimanov instead of the Najdrof.

Believe it or not, this pawn storm looks like black is moving pawns for the first 4 moves, but it actually obliterates white's advantage. You should try to trade of the light square bishop.

Forget it, this board function is broken, just play the first 4 moves in this position, and put the bishop on b7.

Hi sweetheart, just want to let you know that I just started a new correspondence game with a random individual, and guess what he did.

Sicilian.

I'll see if I can post the game later!!!

(NO! It's not with that "usual friend" I play it with, either.)
