I'm a new player and I don't understand why I got a draw. I had almost all of my opponent's pieces except for the king. How could that result in a draw?

Only your King left and no where to go- Stalemate.

5th Rank is blocked all the way across by opponents Queen.

c7 is also blocked by opponents Queen.

All other squares are covered by opponents Pawns.

You have no move = Draw by Stalemate
