you hung a queen and a bishop for several moves in this position basic and they blundered. you didn't play good at all, you just got lucky.

the fact that this is rapid is crazy.

Everything's relative, isn't it? Compared to stockfish, none of us are any good, we're just doing our best. He played better than his opponent and that's all that matters.

@Kavarin - nice win! Have a look at ladder mates, you could have finished this off a bit more efficiently once you had the queen. And on rapid you can always take a bit of time to look for hanging pieces (your own and your opponent's). Your opponent's light squared bishop was hanging for a while but you never spent more than a few seconds per move and didn't see it until it took your rook. You had over 8 minutes when it was first on offer - no need to make moves in a rush! Particularly at your level, people are going to hang pieces often, so give yourself a chance to find them!

Watch in YouTube: Chess Vibes or Gotham Chess to improve your chess more efficiently. I watched, a typical 100 rated chess game, full of hanging pieces, and missed opportunities for mate in 1. Watch that mentioned earlier chess channels, your chess will improve much faster!

Chess Vibes is a more serious channel, Gotham Chess is more with fun. They are both friendly for beginners like you, and will teach you for spotting basic chess tactics like hanging pieces, basic checkmates, and so on

On move 41, instead of moving your Queen to f4, you could have moved your rook to a1 for checkmate.

blundering a queen and bishop and losing? those aren't mistakes, those are blunders! I'm fine with that, but bro really said that's their best game, what else am I supposed to say? Good job! Your best is 20% accuracy! Keep it up and lose to Magnus!

As the old saying goes, if you can't say anything nice, maybe don't say anything at all. No one forced you to comment on the thread.

I imagine that Kavarin, like the rest of us, is well aware there's plenty of room for improvement. That doesn't mean we aren't all entitled to feel good about the times we play (by our standards) well. If you have helpful advice to offer, have at it. But if all you have to offer is pointing out that someone would lose to Magnus... Well, yeah, so would all of us. What's your point?

I really enjoyed this game too! It reminds me of some fun strategy games I’ve played on poki games. They have a great selection of quick, engaging games that are perfect for relaxing after a intense chess match.
