And on rapid you can always take a bit of time to look for hanging pieces (your own and your opponent's). Your opponent's light squared bishop was hanging for a while but you never spent more than a few seconds per move and didn't see it until it took your rook. You had over 8 minutes when it was first on offer - no need to make moves in a rush! Particularly at your level, people are going to hang pieces often, so give yourself a chance to find them!

I really enjoyed this game too! It reminds me of some fun strategy games I’ve played on poki games. They have a great selection of quick, engaging games that are perfect for relaxing after a intense chess match.
