congrats, i dont think 3 f6 was a good way for him to combat the scotch. also c6 and then c5 just wastes a tempo when your opponent should be trying to develop. I dont think 11 b6 was best because it closes the position when you are ahead in developing , also makes Rb1 look strange , bxc5 is better because if dx then you gain passed d pawn and remove one of his center pawns and win the b pawn . if bxc5 then you can use the b file later and you have a good game . I think instead of 14 Nh4 Bxf4 was better because his knight is better than the DSB in this closed position , you double the pawns , weaken center , and there are ideas of pressuring the weak f pawn or sacrificing the e pawn to open blacks king up and exploit the lack of development .
I FINALLY WON

So, after losing to my friendly rival 12 times in a row, I finally beat him!!! Woo hoo! His rating is 1460~ and I am around 1250. I think I played quite well, and had some inaccurices but no blunders. Just wanted to post this game for analysis to see if you guys agree! Cheers!
